The Beginning
Hanging Lights Club was born from a simple passion: creating magical holiday experiences that bring communities together. What started as a small family business in 2022 has grown into the region's most trusted holiday lighting service.
OUR FOUNDER
Our founder, Vitalii Puhach, began installing holiday lights for neighbors and friends, driven by the joy of seeing families gather to admire beautiful displays. Word spread quickly about our attention to detail, safety standards, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Today, we're proud to serve hundreds of residential and commercial clients each year, creating stunning displays that capture the magic of the holiday season while maintaining the personal touch that started it all.
Our Philosophy
We believe in doing things the right way. For us, that means combining creative design with meticulous installation, using only the highest quality materials that shine brighter and last longer. It's a commitment to excellence that our clients can see and feel.
How We Work
We are an all-inclusive lighting company, which is a specific promise rather than a slogan. We design the display, supply commercial-grade LED lights, install them, service them through the season, take them down in January, and store them until next year. You never buy lights, you never store a box in the garage, and you never climb a ladder.
Installs begin in August and the calendar fills from there, so the earlier you book the more say you have over your install date. Seasonal displays start at $799 and up. We quote the job, not a rate per foot, so the number follows roofline complexity, height, safe access and how much of the property you want lit. Color-changing RGBW C9 starts around $1,400 and covers Halloween, Diwali and Christmas on a single install. Permanent roofline lighting, installed once and controlled from an app, typically starts near $3,000 and removes the annual install cost entirely.
We work across Chicagoland from our base in Palatine: the North Shore, the Northwest and Western suburbs, and Chicago neighborhoods, covering 39 towns with a page for each one. Our crews are insured, our fixtures are IP67 weather-rated, and mid-season service calls are included rather than billed. Customers have left 35 reviews across Google, Yelp and Facebook, every one of them five stars.
