Christmas Light Installation in Inverness, IL

Christmas lighting and permanent roofline lighting for Inverness, where one acre minimum lots and almost no commercial development mean your house is the only light on the street.

The Unique Charm of Inverness

Inverness is our next door neighbor. The village runs from Barrington Road on the west to Roselle Road on the east, and from Dundee Road down to Algonquin Road, which puts its eastern edge minutes from our Palatine shop. It was platted with a one acre minimum lot size and has kept it, and Williamsburg Village is still the only business development in town. Two consequences for lighting. First, there is very little ambient light out here, no strip mall glow, no commercial signage, so a lit roofline carries much further than it would in a denser suburb. Second, the trees are old. Homes started going up in 1939 and got larger and more varied through the 1970s and 80s, and the canopy grew with them. We love contributing to the local character of Inverness with our beautiful lighting designs, whether seasonal or permanent.

Our Services in Inverness

From magical Christmas displays to permanent architectural lighting, we have professional solutions for every property and every season.

Residential Holiday Lighting

On an acre with mature oak and a house set back off the road, the roofline and a few well chosen trees do all the work. We walk the property from the street first and light what is actually visible from there, not what looks good from the driveway. Design, install, mid season maintenance, takedown and storage are all included.

Commercial Holiday Lighting

Commercial work in Inverness means Williamsburg Village and the Inverness Golf Club, plus the office and retail edges along Algonquin and Roselle. In a village with no street lighting to speak of, a lit facade is genuinely how customers find you after five o'clock.

Permanent Lighting Installation

Transform your outdoor spaces with professional permanent lighting installations. Enhance ambiance, security, and property value year-round with invisible tracks and smart app control.

Patio & Bistro Lighting

Bistro strings over patios, pergolas and decks, hung on proper catenary with dimmable warm white bulbs. The one install that earns its keep from spring through fall rather than only in December.

Wooded acre lots and where the light lands

The 1939 to 1980s build out left Inverness with big trees close to big houses, and that changes the plan. Branches between the roof and the road will eat a display, so we survey sight lines before we quote and sometimes move the emphasis to a tree wrap and the entry rather than a roofline nobody can see in December. Low ambient light is the upside. Warm white on a single clean roofline reads dramatically out here, where the same install in a well lit downtown would be competing with street lamps.

Pricing on one acre lots

Seasonal lighting starts at $799 and up, depending on the complexity, height and access of the job. Inverness quotes are driven less by the house and more by the property. Long frontages, circular drives, detached garages and specimen trees all add run, and the acre minimum means almost nothing here is a compact install. The offsetting factor is access: driveways are wide, staging is easy, and there is rarely a parking problem, which keeps labor predictable.

We used Hanging Lights Club for both a gutters cleaning and a Christmas lights decoration. We were very happy with the company's work on both projects. The scheduling was super easy and everything was explained ahead of time. The lights look great. A few of our neighbors have complemented us on the holiday lights displayed on our house. We would highly recommend Hanging Lights Club to others.
